We loved working with them. I would of liked a bit more communication as on the wedding day they had the wrong wine from what we had chose for each table. Other than that it was amazing! We are so happy with who we chose to hold our wedding. The food was amazing! We will be coming back here yearly to celebrate. They helped make our day unique to what we dreamed of. Super friendly staff as well. -

Seriously so beautiful the pictures don't do it justice! Multiple sites for the ceremony many requiring no additional decor, we also choose minimal decor for the hall because it was beyond gorgeous on its own . It was amazing to have the inn just for our wedding and the service was amazing. They were amazing with helping change dates twice due to covid restrictions. 100% worth driving out to check it out and meet Liz and her staff. They also did an outstanding job helping with hiding and announcing a pregnancy and having many options to take care of a bride and bridal party with more than one pregnant party above and beyond including making sure a non-alcoholic drink was ready and waiting for toasts etc. -

Kelsi and Liz were fantastic to work with and made the process so easy. Even with a global pandemic throwing a wrench in our wedding plans, we were so impressed with the communication and flexibility from them. The venue itself is stunning with a number of outdoor ceremony location options (we were thrilled to be their first vineyard wedding and are still floored by how beautiful it was), and the Coach House reception space is so charming it barely needs any decor. The food that we heard so many good things about was outstanding; I'll be trying to recreate the butternut squash and carrot soup this winter. We can't thank everyone at Hessenland enough and can't imagine having gotten married anywhere else!

Don’t entrust your important day to just anyone: Liz and the Hessenland staff looked after *everything*. They are engaged, caring professionals who know what they’re doing. Prices offer excellent value for money without sacrificing quality. My guests raved about Hessenland and their staff members. We also recommend Diane Brandon photography and That Little Cake Place (I think in Exeter. )Hessenland Inn and Schatz Winery's reply:

Kimberly Sent on 25/01/2017If you are thinking destination wedding make that destination Hessenland Country Inn! We visited Hessenland for the first time last January and we knew this venue was for us. You could feel the magic and see the beauty hidden under the snow. My husband fell in love instantly and we booked that day for our July wedding. Liz is fantastic to work with and the staff are top notch. Franks is an amazing chef our guests are still talking about the food and venue! So many choices on the property to choose to host your ceremony my husband had a hard time deciding! Beautiful venue for your wedding pictures from the grounds to the beach and now the vineyard! You truly won't be disappointed choosing Hessenland Country Inn for you special day! I know my husband and I will be back to Hessenland to celebrate our first anniversary and many more!
