Situated in the tranquil Cherry Valley, Ontario, on the stunning shores of Lake Ontario, the Hayloft Dancehall offers a rustic, welcoming and historic venue for wedding celebrations. Their magnificent bar has been serving nuptials and other special events for almost 50 years and the new dancehall is a live music venue that brings the success of the Dakota Tavern to the gorgeous Prince Edward County.

Facilities and capacity

The Hayloft Dancehall offers indoor as well as outdoor settings for ceremonies and receptions. The dancehall itself has a capacity of 190 guests and is situated on 2.2 acres of serene land which serves as a lovely background for photos.

Services offered

Their services consist of bar, event rentals, lighting, the use of server(s), sound and clean up. Catering must be provided by outside vendors. Event furnishing include picinic tables, audio equipment, a dance floor and barware.

Location

Just five minutes away is the spectacular Sandbanks Provincial Park which sits across from the marvelous Quinte Isle Camp grounds. There are also numerous stellar B&B's nearby and the refined Drake Devonshire is only a fifteen minute drive away.

We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hayloft in October. Leading up to the event, the Hayloft crew were an absolute pleasure to work with, and were available to meet on site whenever we were in town. We are so happy with how the evening turned out. The space is truly unique, and was a huge hit with all our guests. We held the ceremony AND reception indoors (114 guests), and so long as you're open to a bit of an atypical set up - it totally works! The space is perfect if you're looking for an intimate, unique venue that fosters an epic dance party.

We had the pleasure of having our wedding at The Hayloft Dancehall this past August. We were looking for a relaxed venue that would give us a unique and rustic feeling while adding a flair of barn burner dance party. We also wanted to make sure we could control the experience from catering to decor. This proved hard to find as many potential venues insisted on using on site catering or in-house vendors.

We had initially heard about the Hayloft as the place to go out and see live music in the Country and already loved their Toronto-based Dakota Tavern. We decided to investigate it as a wedding option and met Trish. Trish was very accommodating and welcomed the idea of hosting our wedding. We worked together to transform the space into a classy barn dinner venue and then into a memorable live music dance party afterwards. It was the perfect venue for our wedding and Trish, Shawn, Shannon and the entire Hayloft team were great to work with! We would highly recommend it to anyone considering a barn wedding in Ontario.

Trish, Shawn, and the whole team at the Hayloft were great. They made spot on recommendations for local vendors, and wine. Trish took care of all the details. We couldn't be happier with the service. Perfect venue for casual weddings with live music.
