Who said it? - "Let's just elope"

I thought about it ... just going to Vegas lol but I wouldn’t want to miss out on the wedding planning.

Me, absolutely. When I see the cost of weddings, I’d rather just elope and splurge on a long, luxurious honeymoon. My partner is the level- headed one; he keeps saying it’s important for us to have a celebration. He’ll likely win 😅

I've joked about it but we never actually consider it

Me! We've changed our plans a little, but our ceremony will be small and we always planned on having a party with our favorite people afterwards.

Neither of us we wanted our families to be present

Me, and I am getting my way. It's not a complete elopement as we are taking his daughter, our parents and a few close friends and family with us to Vegas. I'm Indian so if I did a wedding here it would be HUGE and he has a big family too.

Me for sure, it's just hard to wrap my head around spending so much on one day and we've got the budget down to $4,000!

I would love to elope. But he and our families really want the wedding!

Meeee!!! With all of the stress of planning the wedding out myself I definitely did. FH wants his big wedding though, and we'd lose money since we put down the deposits already x

Honestly, both of us have mentioned it. But that actually made for a better plan of no ceremony (just paper signing) with a reception party idea.

Neither of us, but my mom has mentioned it a few times (jokingly, of course!).

He says all the time we should just go to Vegas, I think he is over it now that we have made down payments though.

Neither of us. He's suggested a major downsize and has said "let's just go somewhere tropical"... but that would just be a small wedding, not eloping.

He wants to elope and says it often. Not gonna lie its very tempting financial wise but it is just not want I truly want.

He said it first, but I'm an only-child and it's just not an option. Now that I'm knee-deep in to planning, I keep saying it hahaha.
