  Best Wedding Experience!!

  We can't speak highly enough about Eganridge - best decision to choose this venue! Jason, Melissa and the entire crew went above and beyond for our wedding in June 2019 with 85 guests to make it the most memorable day. We are getting bombarded with compliments from family and friends endlessly. Picture perfect venue on the water, no matter what weather comes your way. Always open to new and creative ideas with phenomenal fireworks, jewish traditions, rehearsal bbq and late night bonfire/pub for a wind down. Everything from the accommodations, food, and guest activities exceeded all expectations, and they were high! Go take a look at this venue and you won't be disappointed!

  Beautiful Venue

  Eganridge is an absolutely beautiful venue. Stunning water views with amazing rolling hills. The treetop ballroom where we held our reception was gorgeous. I was so happy with the beautiful venue and it's amazing staff. The coordinator was so helpful through the whole process. I highly recommend this venue!!

  Perfect wedding venue

  We had our wedding here in October and it was everything I could have asked for and more! Helen was amazing during the whole process. She was patient and kind with us and was able to accommodate all our wishes. All our guests were happy with their accommodations, the wedding food and complemented us on how beautiful the venue was!
  We stayed an extra night after the wedding and had dinner in the main dinning room and it was fantastic! Great service! Great dinner! Lovely atmosphere!

  We had our wedding here in October and it was everything I could have asked for and more! Helen was amazing during the whole process. She was patient and kind with us and was able to accommodate all our wishes. All our guests were happy with their accommodations, the wedding food and complemented us on how beautiful the venue was!

  A magical experience and so much fun!

  I absolutely loved the venue - it felt like a cottage weekend with all our friends and family. Everyone had such a good time. The pictures came out beautifully, the food was delicious, ours was the only wedding happening (unlike other places that could host multiple weddings on the same day), and Helen… omg. Helen is the day of coordinator and your best friend. She truly goes above and way beyond. I cannot speak anymore highly of her. A wonderful experience and so glad we chose this venue for our wedding

  Read carefully - detailed review pros & cons

  We booked Eganridge because we’ve been guests of the resort a number of times and love the location and the serenity of it all.
  However, our recommended rating on this venue would be 4/5 because although it was a nice place, it was still rather expensive and certainly has areas to improve.
  
  1. Reception food was great, served chicken for dinner and appetizer finger foods for late night and the chef did an amazing job!
  
  2. Bar and wait staff at the reception were very good. Bar did run out of some alcohol, concerning since we were a small group and not big drinkers. I have heard from other weddings this happened to them as well.
  
  3. Ceremony location was beautiful background, it would be better if they could get rid of the Canadian geese and their droppings. The staff attempt to rake an aisle and ceremony location to clear the bird droppings, but my dress bottom was ruined during the registry signing and photos because of the bird droppings all along the waterfront, pier and grounds near the lake.
  
  4. Accommodations were nice, we had many cottages and terrace rooms booked. Dunsford house is the only accommodations with 2 queen beds difficult to optimize rooms/guests. Cost of extra guests is higher with wedding rate than to book outside the group.
  No complaints from guests on cleanliness of the rooms or cottages.
  
  5. Front desk staff - some were exceptional and went above and beyond! Some were not helpful at all. The GM has advised new processes are being put in place to address situations we noted on our wedding day, as well as other couples noted in the past, please be sure to communicate and confirm on "day of" expectations or requests.
  
  6. Wedding coordinator onsite does well with sending checklists and sourcing information but doesn’t follow through with requests or plans as discussed. Once again GM has advised that new processes are being created to avoid situations such as ours with the coordinator for future couples. Overall she helped keep the day on track, and did check in throughout the reception.
  
  8. The Stables pub has great food and wait staff - definitely more popular with our guests than the main restaurant.
  
  9. Golf Course is great for a 9 hole course. Most couples get complimentary round of golf and we were impressed with the condition and it is popular with locals and guests.
  
  10. Spa - Newly renovated and re-opened just before our wedding. Staff were friendly and attentive. Space was clean and inviting, ourselves and guests enjoyed nail service, massage and facials. All were excellent
  
  Overall Eganridge offers a beautiful location, with plenty of extras. We had a friday evening wedding and stayed the weekend to enjoy the resort. Some wedding guests stayed on the resort, others guests found reasonably priced accommodations in Bobcaygeon and we shuttled them in for the day.

  Perfect wedding!

  Helen & Jason were fantastic! We had monthly meetings leading up to the date where Helen kept us on track and made great recommendations.

  Most beautiful day

  Where do we even start? Helen, the girl who kept it all together. There was not one thing she hadn't thought of for us. Being new to the venue but keeping her past experience and bringing it to life for our special day could not go un-noticed. Our family and friends had nothing but kind words to say about the entire weekend and how it went. We will be dreaming of this weekend for the rest of our lives. The food was phenomenal - everyone was raving about how amazing it was. Our signature cocktail- was better than I ever imagined. And the support we had from getting ready in the dunford house to walking down the isle to makeup artists canceling last minute- 5 minutes later Helen had a backup! From the bottom of our hearts we thank you mainly Helen - but the staff at Eganridge that made our day as special as can be! We will be coming back for our anniversary and last minute road trips. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHECKING THIS PLACE OUT!

  Highly recommend Eganridge Resort

  Eganridge Resort is an exceptional place, not only to get married at but in general. Bobcaygeon is my hometown and so I grew up going to Eganridge. Everything has always been exceptional, from their well-kept grounds, golf course, hotel rooms + dunsford suites, and the restaurant. It’s an all-in-one type of place, especially for a wedding. You don’t need to leave the grounds which makes for a very stress-free wedding.
  
  The staff are down to earth and friendly, they are willing to help and go the extra mile whenever you need them to. Jason the property manager was always very helpful and quick to respond whenever we had questions. Helen, the coordinator was more than helpful in every way possible. Her love for her job really shines through… she was only ever a call or email away and made sure that on our actual wedding day we had everything we needed. All the staff were exceptional… the serving staff, the restaurant staff, drivers (late night golf cart drop offs), front desk, and everyone else that makes Eganridge a wonderful place.
  
  Truthfully, my husband and I have nothing to complain about. We are so happy and would choose Eganridge again if we had the choice. We highly recommend getting married here.

  Above and Beyond

  Jason at Eganridge was our coordinator up until the day of the wedding, and then we ended up having Allison for the day of. I was a little bit worried because I had done all of the planning with Jason, but Allison was wonderful!
  
  The staff at Eganridge went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend perfect and memorable. They even threw in a complimentary bonfire with s’mores the night of our rehearsal dinner. Some of the wait staff found a carrot for my nephew who wanted to build a snowman! It was the details like this that really made the difference.
  
  Thank you Allison and Jason and the whole team at Eganridge for helping us with our magical winter wedding!

  2022 Wedding

  My husband and I just had our wedding there in December 2022, and everything was perfect! Jason, the event manager/property coordinator, was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process, always answering our questions and making sure our special day would be perfect. The venue and rooms were beautiful, the food was delicious and all the staff was super friendly and accommodating! Everyone went above and beyond to ensure that we, and our guests, had what we needed and played a huge part in creating an incredible, unforgettable weekend that our friends and family still talk about!

  My husband and I just had our wedding there in December 2022, and everything was perfect! Jason, the event manager/property coordinator, was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process, always answering our questions and making sure our special day would be perfect. The venue and rooms were beautiful, the food was delicious and all the staff was super friendly and accommodating!
