Situated in downtown Vancouver, the Georgian Court Hotel, a newly renovated four star boutique hotel, is a stunning venue for intimate weddings. The bride can relax before the big day one one of our Orchid Floor Suites, designed especially for our female travelers. After the wedding, our luxurious 832 sq ft Penthouse Suite awaits the newly married couple. With a blank canvas to work with in our banquet rooms, our event space can be transformed to your dream wedding venue!
Facilities and capacity
The Club Room, located on the lobby level, is spacious and airy featuring a full bar, 20 foot ceiling, and a baby grand piano. This romantic room with arch shaped windows seats 50 people banquet style. The Mezzanine Terrace is another ideal space for an intimate gathering. This room is bathed in natural light and even has an outdoor patio! Maximum seating capacity in the Mezzanine Terrace is also 50 people banquet style.
Services offered
Our professional meeting and event staff will be on hand to help you with every stage of planning your day. Included in the room are wireless Internet, some AV equipment, tables, chairs (no chair covers), tableware, etc. There is also a baby grand piano in the Club Room. Hotel guests can relax and unwind in our newly renovated spa room with brand new hot tub and infrared sauna.
Accommodation
All of our spacious rooms and suites were fully renovated in 2017. They feature Serta Platinum 2 Sided Pillow Top mattresses, 48” flat screen TVs, Beekman 1802 Mercantile bathroom amenities, Nespresso coffee machines, mini-fridges, an iron and ironing board, hairdryers, robes, slippers, yoga mats and in-room safes.
Location
Just a stone's throw from the best shopping and dining that there is in the city, you and your guests will be kept entertained in the days surrounding the wedding by sightseeing and visiting the famous Gastown, Yaletown, Granville Island, Stanley Park.
