They are too busy to respond to emails. Its best to call or meet in person to save the date.If you are looking for a classy, fun and unique night this is the venue for you! However take into account that you need to have the $5000 dollar deposit to secure a date and dates run out quickly. So ... Read more my suggestion when you see the venues is that you are ready with the minimum 5000 at a reach to make the deposit right before the dates disapear. Also there are winter promotions that are worth taking into account if you are willing to pick any available date!

All of our guests enjoyed and were very pleased with the beautiful venue, professional ... Read more and friendly staff, and the amazing food! We are so glad we found this gem in Toronto! From the servers, bartenders and doorman who were pleasant and professional; the floor manager, Joe, who was pleasant and on point, he even assisted with rescuing my wedding dress by finding a Tide-to-go to remove the food stain on it. He was readily available throughout the night and made sure that me and my husband had eaten and had been well hydrated; the sound and lighting technician who had even introduced himself before the reception started - he was very professional and had done an amazing job; the Vice President (Teresa) and Event Manager (Sarah) were so easy to talk to, professional, and were prompt to respond and to accommodate when we had inquires or requests that needed addressing (thank you so much Teresa and Sarah, Matt and I are very impressed by your outstanding service and patience!); and to the kitchen staff who were excellent in their service - everyone were able to enjoy each meal or snack that was served. We would like to appreciate everyone's hard work and dedication to high quality service to your clients. Thank you so much for making our special day extra memorable. Read more staff helped my husband and I have the most perfect night with our friends and family. We went with the buffet and everyone commented that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. Lots of variety for even the most picky! They even work with you to make sure that any guests with food intolerance/allergies are accommodated. The red carpet entrance to the venue and the personalized marquee (along with other options for personalization throughout the ball room) really made planning this fun. Great features, beautiful venue... Highly recommended, over and over again!

Great VenueOverall this venue is great for an event/wedding. The service from the staff was very well run. The dinner service was very well run - many guest commented at how smoothly it ran and how the guests ... Read more got their food very quickly. The meal was quite large and very filling! many of the guests commented how stuffed they were! many people didn't touch our late night or sweets table because the meal was so filling! The bar was serviced well throughout the night, and really can't complain about the high level of service throughout the day. Great place to hold a wedding. We were very happy with our day!

La La Land Magical Wedding ReceptionWe held our wedding reception here last weekend - everything was beyond amazing! It was a wonderful day and evening. Finally arriving at EG in our limo was so surreal, seeing our marquee, our ... Read more posters, and the red carpet treatment - Spectacular! :) Guests also mentioned enjoying arriving to these VIP details. Can't wait to see our professional photos! Everything went well and smoothly. The ballroom was fabulous, the ambiance, decor, overall setting was perfect for our La La Land movie theme. We even had the movie playing through dinner. We received many compliments on how magical and enchanting the setting was and many compliments to the venue. Everyone was in awe, especially loving our room reveal with the magical draw of the curtains and seeing just us from the mezzanine during our first dance - what a special unique feature for sure! Great job to Ari and team on tech/lights/AV that worked with our wedding planning/coordination team and the rest of our vendors to set the scene! The purple up lights and warm lights at the front of the room were spot on, as well as the spotlight during certain points in the evening. And thank you again to Sarah and crew for adding the gorgeous chairs, it really pulled our sweetheart table together. I couldn't get over how beautiful it was, so many gorgeous details - still can't! :) We felt that Joe was super attentive, checking in every so often to ensure we were attended to. Our glasses were never empty for dinner, the servers, the team were amazing. Joe even made sure we got back to our seats to ensure our meals were still hot, so we could enjoy them. The bartender, I didn't catch his name, went out of his way to serve me (the bride) 1 last drink even though it was a few mins over time as they were cleaning up. Didn't see the self serve water set up though? We may have just missed it. We also didn't get a chance to take a look at our late night station, but feedback was good. General feedback we received regarding the food was wonderful. Food was so delicious, so many guests raved at how satisfied they were, having beyond their fill of food and drink (especially important to us and our parents) leaving with hearts and bellies full and having had a fantastic time. I was able to chat with Neil and Mark at the end of the evening and expressed my thanks in their being there alongside the EG team. Mark was great with helping with a couple lighters during our sparkler photos and made sure to hold the door for us each time we entered/exited. Neil was great even from the Thursday we practiced our dance, to the very end of the evening. I asked him to pass on our thanks and appreciation to all the servers/staff for attending to us and our guests all evening - hopefully they were able to enjoy some of the flowers we left behind. Though it got really stressful towards the end of the planning, we felt that the evening went super smooth overall! Sarah was very prompt and responsive to all our questions and emails leading up to the big day. She made sure to provide us suggestions, alongside our wedding planner and captured all details on our function plan to ensure timing and details were perfect. Thank you so much again to all EG staff - especially to Sarah - for all your help, recommendations throughout the planning process and all the thoughtful well wishes. Eglinton Grand - what an exquisite venue for those who love old Hollywood, art deco glam details + amazing food and drink!! Book for your wedding, you won't regret it :))
