A Pleasant Surprise!I wanted to put on a surprise party for my wife's 60th birthday and to celebrate her retirement. I looked all over the city for a venue that could accommodate 60 people, be elegant enough to honour ... Read more the event and still be cost efficient while providing an abundance of tasty food. Thankfully I landed on the Bickford Bistro at the Guildwood Estate. All went off flawlessly. Seriously, everything was perfect! My wife was totally surprised, the food was great, everyone loved the venue and staff, it couldn’t have been better! Cassandra and Shelly helped calm my nerves, were clear about costs and services and ensured that everything went off without a hitch. Honestly, if you're looking for a venue to make your occasion a real success, don't hesitate to book the Guildwood. They'll make your day everything you're hoping it will be!

Read more explain to me the other options and really got down to providing me the details so my mind could be put at ease. Cassandra is so detailed that after a few more meetings, she completely got my trust that she will deliver. I've done alot of DIYs for my wedding and having someone that truly gets my vision was such a blessing. On our wedding day, when we walked in to our reception hall - i was able to see my vision become reality. The team really got together and executed each detail. i could not be any happier. First and foremost – thank you to you and your team. Your team was exceptional – I’ve heard a few feedback from guests how all the staff are very friendly and polite. The guys working at the bar got really busy but they were all smiles and joked around with guests. Please extend our thank you’s to everyone, expecially to Beth, our event manager! She is one to reckon with! Ever so present in everything – she made sure that we had what we needed. The guests also raved about the food. Compliments to the chef! Food was just truly sumptuous! AND lastly, thank you for delivering on your promise – for giving us the best night of our lives and ensuring that everything we talked about was executed to perfection! The venue looked amazing!

September 2018 WeddingA very professional organization/venue. They have a lot of experience and support staff, and will help you coordinate your wedding from start to finish. They were flexible on things like AV and set up ... Read more set up which we appreciated. Good parking for your guests, beautiful outdoor space and clean facilities. Their support staff was always pleasant to deal with and we had absolutely no problems or issues with them at all.

Lots of places we went to see were ... Read more really run down and not clean or felt like a wedding covatorbelt. The Guild was just really nice and clean. We had the pleasure of dealing with Francesca who was absolutely amazing! I can not say enough about how wonderful she was. She even remembered my voice so every time I called her she knew who I was and my husbands name and when our wedding was. It’s just so reassuring to know that you are in good hands on your special day. The food was very good. Our 112 guests were pleased especially the Godiva chocolate cheese cake we served for dinner and the lobster ravioli. The one complaint that we were told about was the alcohol. We paid for the majestic package with the top shelf alcohol and apparently the bar was serving lower grade of alcohol which was fixed after this was told to the coordinator at our event. Otherwise, everything was really good and we appreciate the hard work of the staff at the venue. Thank you!
