Tyler at Local DJ is the DJ of our DREAMS. The day was truly magical and he captured our musical journey of the day so perfectly. From the first dances to the never-ending party vibes, he curated the energy for the evening that we dreamt of. Music is such a key part of our love story and when we met him, we felt his passion for music as well. He complimented the tone and energy so well throughout the day and we felt the passion he had for being part of our love story that day. And THE PARTY WOW. This was the party of our DREAMS. We wanted our guests to dance the night away and that they did. Tyler also remembered that we wanted a last dance to wrap up the evening and the moment was so perfect. Local DJ was everything we wanted and more! First off, Tyler asked to meet us for a drink a month before our wedding to talk about music and get an understanding of exactly what we wanted. My husband and I had particular music we liked and he stuck to that all night while mixing in other music when he saw fit. We had one amazing dance party, with the kids at 5pm and later in the evening. He can take all the credit!!

On top of this, Tyler was very responsive and ensured everything was organized and ready to go for a stress free day.

We hired Local DJ for our wedding in Calgary on October 9, 2022 - and it was the absolute best decision we could have made! From our first meeting with Tyler, we were in great hands. Tyler is so chill as a person, but totally, completely organized as a professional, and was so on top of all coordination from the start. In the lead-up to our wedding, as we worked through a few details (helping us find a live musician for the ceremony, and helping us figure out special music for our hora dance), he was so patient with the piles of detail we sent his way, and went out of his way to be helpful. On the day-of, Justin actually DJ’d our wedding, and got rave reviews from our guests - a kickass dance party! He read the room perfectly, capitalized on the music people were enjoying and played more of it, and snuck in all our special requests so that the whole evening felt personalized to us too. He was also super under the radar - he made the party happen behind the scenes, which was the perfect vibe. It was one of the best DJ experiences we’ve ever had at a wedding, people were dancing the entire night, and we were so impressed. Thank you, Local DJ team - we loved working with you!

We cannot thank Tyler of Local DJ enough for the party that was delivered at our wedding this past Saturday. We truly had the most epic day and Tyler was there to deliver the music from the ceremony at 2pm all the way to last call at the end of the night. When we first met with Tyler we told him we wanted the dance floor to be packed all night and he delivered! If a song wasn't hitting right he would read the room and change it to get people hyped up again. I would recommend Local again and again! Tyler was super responsive and professional to plan with and we had a great time at the wedding reception with his associate's DJing skills. We were given lots of support for the planning process and Tyler even helped me to arrange a surprise song for me to walk down the aisle to and surprise my now husband with. Such a great time they had to kick us off the dance floor at 2am - I didn't want the party to end!

If you want the best party, you need to hire these guys! They have an unreal understanding of how to read a room - no one left the dance floor from our friends to families to even grandmas! They are so professional, easy to talk to and love what they do. They made it the perfect night - truly the best part of our day - besides saying I do, of course!

We met with Tyler for our initial consultation (who is so down to earth and wonderful) and James was our DJ who was AMAZING, we are still getting compliments on how wicked he was. Our dance floor was packed all night. He was so friendly to our guests and read the crowd flawlessly.
