Warning: not worth the bargain!BE WARNED, DO NOT SHOP HERE. I'm shocked but happy that some customers have had positive experiences here, but the negative reviews are so accurate! Another reviewer below stated that if you want that ... Read more “once in a lifetime” feeling of finding your perfect dress, this is NOT the place to come and I couldn’t agree more! Even as a bargain hunter like myself, please be cautioned that there's always a price to pay for inexpensive goods. First of all, the store gives off thrift store vibes because it's overloaded with dresses, resulting in dirty dresses and dresses that are quite literally falling apart (as admitted to me by an employee herself). Additionally, if you are familiar with this shop, the changerooms and viewing area is very cramped and small--there are only 2 mirrors. I booked an appointment for myself and my friend (both brides-to-be) a month in advance but upon arriving, there was a bride who had just begun her fittings. Despite the fact that I clearly made an appointment, I was patient and suggested that my friend and I just share a changeroom, resulting in our visit being twice as long. In the end I chose to put a deposit on a dress and was measured for my size. Fast forward to picking up the dress. First a man (I'm presuming the owner) told me it would be ready by late May to early June, which was shocking because I put in my order in May. I was pleasantly surprised! June comes and goes, so I call in July asking about the whereabouts of the dress, and am informed by an annoyed employee to "not call us, we'll call you" and that it won't arrive until July 17. July also comes and goes, so I call in August and when asked why I keep calling, I explain it's frustrating to be told a date, anticipate it, and have it come and go 3 different times. Finally it arrives August 14, 5 MONTHS after I ordered it. In other words, if you're tight with time, DO NOT COME HERE because they clearly can't guarantee an arrival date. Even if they brush this off as a "manufacturer problem", the fact that they didn't once apologize for giving me wrong information or try to empathize was bewildering. Finally, the kicker. I arrive to try on the dress and my bridesmaid and I are mortified it doesn't fit. I told the saleslady (who had measured me and ordered my size for me those 5 months prior) that it didn't fit, she simply told me to "get it eased out, it'd be easy". When she re-measured me, she stated that my hips and waist had stayed the same size but that my bust had increased by nearly 2 inches as if that's humanly possible to only gain weight in my bust, especially considering the fact that I have photo evidence to show I was wearing the same bra then and now. I explained I will now have to pay an extra cost for alterations (to recreate nearly 2 inches around the whole bodice with lace and beadwork) that I wasn't anticipating because of HER. She refused to admit that she had made a mistake as she said that it was my fault for gaining weight and she said by quote "well *shrug* I only work here, what do you want me to do about it?". I demanded to speak to the owner to either get a refund for my deposit or the dress express ordered in the correct size at their expense but it's been 2 business days and no one has attempted to reach me. Their customer service is absolutely pathetic. PLEASE save yourself the trouble and DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS as they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Beautiful Dress, Staff Not So MuchI will start with the positives - I LOVED my dress. From when I first went to Angie's, told them the theme of the wedding, they walked away and came back with THE dress in a matter of minutes. It had ... Read more perfect Art Deco elements to go with my Old Hollywood themed wedding, and I was so happy with it. It was also from an older collection, so the price was INCREDIBLE for how much intricate beading and stuff was on it. Now the negatives. We didn't really have great interactions with the staff. The lady who did the dress alterations (Kim) was the nicest, you could tell she cared how the dress turned out and wanted me to look my best, and she did a good job. However, she wasn't the warmest person and working with her always felt a bit rushed. The lady who helped me find the dress the first day was very short in all of our conversations. She put a lot of undue pressure on us to buy the dress the first day when I wanted to think on it (I understand the need to make a sale but there's a reason it had been on the rack for 2 years), was rude to me when I arrived for an appointment at the time I thought it was (she said it was actually for half an hour earlier, still not sure who was right there), and always made me feel like I was inconveniencing her when I called to book someone or came by to try things on, like she didn't have time for me or I would have to hurry to make space for other people (who never seemed to actually be there...). The worst interaction though by far was when I called to book my alterations. The store owner answered, and he said "well there's only so much we can take the dress in". When I explained, in fact, that I'd need material let OUT if possible (and I knew already there wasn't much material that we could use), he said "well, it has a lot of beading so if you need more than an inch taken out, you better stop eating now". OUCH. I tend to think of myself as someone with a thick skin, but this comment stuck with me because of how unwarranted it was. How dare he tell me what to do with my body? That definitely left a sour taste in my mouth, but by then I'd already paid for the dress in full so there wasn't much to be done. Overall, I'd suggest going elsewhere. The dresses were nice, but I'm sure you could find similar ones without feeling like a burden on the store staff.
