    Terrible. Just Terrible.

    We hired Bartendo for a destination wedding after-party in Edmonton. We paid for 2 servers to come to our home. The day of the event, Courtney showed up approximately 10 minutes early. The other employee, Brittany, did not show up on time. Courtney excused herself to call Brittany and find out where she was. Brittany hung up on her. Now, one hour before my event, we find out that we only have 1 server and not 2. So, without proper notice, we scrambled to figure out who was going to do what to make up for the missing employee. There was food that went to waste, because there was nobody there to serve it. We were taken away from hosting our guests to take care of things that this employee should have taken care of. There was garbage everywhere, empty glasses, used plates, and used napkins because there was nobody there to take care of it. Red wine was not even opened because there was nobody there to serve it. We tried our best, but our guests suffered and we had to sacrifice time away from our guests.
    I did not receive a phone call from anyone with the company. I eventually called them Monday afternoon. At that time, they 'offered' to refund me the money for the employee that did not show. It was only after I explained a small bit about the negative impact this had on my event that I received some sort of an apology. A follow up email offered me a $100 credit for a future event due to the inconvenience it caused. We never would have hosted this event with only one server. After another email exchange, they offered me a $50 refund, but took away the $100 credit.
    Please consider that they have 5 stars on every site because their employees are making these reviews. If you are looking for a reliable company that cares about their customers, keep looking.

    Thank you very much for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the service you received for your event. Our team member experienced a family emergency and was unable to arrive for your event. Due to the last-minute nature of this emergency, we were ill-prepared and unable to send a replacement. In any event, we should have been better prepared and we are deeply sorry for the inconvenience this caused you.

    While an apology will not alter the outcome of your event, we do extend one with all sincerity. This level of service is certainly not acceptable and not representative of the high quality service we provide to events on an ongoing basis. We take all client experiences very seriously, and are very appreciative of the feedback and reviews our clients offer us after events. It is only through receiving such feedback that we are able to improve the services we provide to our clients. With that being said, the online reviews we have received are all from various clients, not from employees. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you would like to discuss further.

    Best mobile bar service! I never knew that hiring Bartendo would make my event so much easier. Best money I ever spent! :)
