I wanted to write a review about this florist - i have been sending flowers to clients for 30 years this is one of the finest florist in the country - if your looking for pick up , delivery or any special occasion - look no further they are the best of the best .

Jennifer was awesome to work with! All the flowers at my wedding were simply STUNNING. I couldn't have asked for anything better! Along the planning stages Jennifer was very flexible and accomidating for meetings (times/locations). When working out details I felt that she really listened to what I was saying/ asked for and she was able to come up with great suggestions and delivered an amazing finished product. Her pricing was very reasonable and I got EXACTLY what I asked for. It was very refreshing to work with someone who was as excited about my wedding as I was. Jennifer is fantastic at what she does and I would definately reccomend her services.

The worst customer service that I have ever received. I met with her through my planner and had complete trust in her. She messed up on every aspect of my flowers. I paid for dahlias and my bouquet was 80 percent carnations. I paid for 2 branches in my centerpieces and received one. She knew that I wanted very full centerpieces. I felt as if she didn't even read what we had written down the day of our meeting. I saw her the day before my wedding and she told me she had extra flowers from another wedding and asked if she could use them in my bouquet and I said no so she used them in everything else. They werent even the right color for my wedding.My flowers were dried and dead before the wedding even started and my parents pieces were falling apart.She has blamed every issue on myself and my planner and refuses to refund me for her mistakes. I can't redo my wedding and I hope that no one else has to go through this. Because I wasn't happy with the flowers she proceeded to call me a cost concious bride. My wedding was over 50 thousand. I don't see how that's cheap. I am completely disgusted with Jennifer and will never reccomend her service to anyone.

Akiko Floral Artisty provided us with beautiful flowers for our ceremony. She was very creative and the flowers stayed fresh all day. My bouquet did start falling apart shortly after the cermony (it was the large leaves that surrounded the rest of the flowers which may not have been secured well enough), and I had to improvise. You can see it in some of the photos, which really isn't a huge deal.
The inital meeting was fabulous and professional. Each time we met I felt that I was being taken care of and that our flowers were in good hands.
I would highly recommend this vendor as Jennifer's style is very unique and made just for you!

August 4th, the big day. If you have planned a wedding you know how stressful it can be to make sure everything is what you envisioned. Not having to worry about a single flower detail and knowing that you have the best service, experience and taste on your side is an absolute asset when flowering a wedding. Akiko Floral was recommended to us by a number of friends. Working with Jennifer Pederson, owner of Akiko Floral Artistry Inc. was an absolute pleasure. If you want someone whom you can work alongside to provide you valuable advice from experience, I wouldn't look any further than Akiko Floral.

I met with Jennifer from Akiko Floral's and she spent a great deal of time with me to get an idea of what I like, then proceeded to draw pictures to give me a visual. I had a pretty good idea of what my wedding and reception would look like. However, when I actually saw how Jennifer decorated I was breathless. It looked so stunning, more than I could have even imagined. Our wedding and reception was held at the Union Bank Inn and the staff there told me my wedding flowers/decor were the most beautiful they had ever seen in all the years they've been there.

Jennifer designed and made me the most beautiful, elegant bouquets. She is so talented, creative and stylish and a genious with colors. The flowers and colors in my bouquet were exactly the look I was going after. She added neat touches like jewels and exotic fillers and ribbon. She also made the corsages, and boutonnieres and they were just awesome. I would highly recommend this vendor, I have seen lots of her work and it is just amazing! She is also very professional and easy to work with.

.... Everything seemed great until it was the day of the wedding.
1) "A complimentary bouquet styled to match the wedding”
- The toss bouquet consisted of two strands of orchids with a water stick on them. Because of the inadequacy of this bouquet, I ended up not doing a bouquet toss.
2) The Grooms Boutonniere
boutonniere was poorly planned and required repair from the moment he put it on The Rose was so heavy that it fell off several times. He ended up having to take a rose from the centerpiece and use to attach to his jacket.
3) Backdrop- there were discussions about adding dowels to support the structure from the wind.Before the ceremony the structure toppled over 7-8 times causing flowers from the structure to break and fall off. My guests had to sort out a way to make the structure more stable.
- mentioned to me that you would transfer the structure and apply the “second look”. No one was there and I had to have my wedding party transfer the structure.
4) Glass Orbs and Floating Candles- The orbs were never supplied, despite being an agreed upon item in the contract. The candles were never supplied (still waiting on a refund)
5) Centerpieces- 7x tall centre pieces and 6x three tiered candles with hydrangeas/other flowers laid on the table. For some reason there were only flowers on 7 of the 13 tables. 6 tables were missed?
The initial consult I was told a Pinterest page was going to be started so we could share ideas. This was never done.
-Told I would receive a “first look” of my flowers on the Friday before the wedding. I did receive a text from you, which did not display my flowers in the best fashion. You even reassured me to not mind the lighting that they looked yellow. I was hoping to see them
I feel like so much was promised and it was not executed to a high standard.
Overall I am dissatisfied with my Akiko experience.
