  Disappointed

  I booked with Anastasia for hair and makeup for my wedding but do to Covid we had to reschedule the wedding to a new date so I decided to get a trial done. I was so disappointed with the trial. I felt ugly and didn't even want to pick my daughter up from school.
  My skin was first not prepped properly with a primer or anything, this is essential as it will be a long hot day on the day of my wedding. The eyelashes were not measured properly to the eye and it looked as if I had an illusion of a lazy eye or a semi closed eye and they were not flat against the eye, so they kept popping up in different places. My eyebrows were emphasized way too much and I found it looked harsh against my skin tone. I found my skin looked quite dull, and was not contoured or highlighted to emphasize any dimension on the face. She didn't have much colour on my lips or much colour to choose from nor did she apply a lip liner. The lip colour was going within a half an hour after she left my house. Overall, it was very bland, and it felt like a rush job . I was not happy at all with the application.
  I don’t recommend Anastasia.

  Best makeup artist!

  Anastasia is very talented and professional! She did my bridesmaids and myselfs makeup for my wedding this past weekend and we all looked so good!!

  I am grateful for all the work and help Anastasia offered before and on the day of our wedding! She was always friendly, professional, followed up on our discussions promptly, and was punctual to appointments.
  Her hair and makeup lasted for the entire day, and even when I asked for last minute changes, she was flexible and willing to achieve what I wanted, and did so with great quality. I also learned lots of makeup tricks from her! ;)
  Anastasia also went above and beyond to offer help with the dress problem I had. Thanks so much again!!! I’ll definitely be in touch with her if I needed hair and makeup done.

  Natural Wedding Makeup

  Being a redhead, I was a bit worried about having my makeup done by someone else for my wedding as makeup tends to look darker on a fair complexion. It was also important to me that I could relax and enjoy the morning of the big day without the stress of getting myself ready so I decided to book with Anastasia. I am so glad that I did! She made me feel at ease and knew exactly how to apply makeup that enhances natural beauty without covering up the imperfections that make us unique, like freckles. I truly felt like the best version of myself that day and didn't have to worry about whether my groom would recognize me! Anastasia also did 2 of my bridesmaids makeup as well and they were also happy. Thank you!

  Great makeup!

  We had Anastasia do makeup for myself, 3 bridesmaids, and the groom's mom. I also used her for my engagement photos, as a trial run. She was super responsive, and very accommodating, plus didn't charge a travel fee to Airdrie (so many vendors do...). And the makeup was fantastic! We all looks gorgeous, and it stayed all night!

  Fabulous wedding experience

  Anastasia was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is a professional through and through, listened to my (and my girls') requests and they all loved the end result. I would definitely use her services again in the future and would 100% recommend her to any bride-to-be.

  Anastasia was great - she did hair and make-up for our wedding party, my mom included. Everyone looked so beautiful, and styles held up for the entirety of the wedding. The girls were really excited having their hair done. We were all able to relax!
  On a professional front - Anastasia was very professional, responsive to emails and questions, even showed up EARLY, just great. Services were a VERY reasonable price, compared to most Calgary based hair and make-up artists.

  Anastasia was recommended by our photographer. That means, she knows how to apply makeup that will work well during photo sessions. I told her what we are going to do for the photo shoot and I let her recommend what would work. He style for makeup was very natural and enhanced my features for the camera. She was also very professional and flexible. I loved working with her and will definitely recommend her to anyone.

  Amazing hair and makeup

  Anastasia was amazing! She was so timely and thoughtful in getting the bridal party hair and makeup done. I completely trusted her and she had amazing tips and advice for how our hair and makeup should look. She used high quality products and the final look was beautiful on everyone!
