Aleks was a really great communicator. We spoke about all the details progressively throughout the months which helped her get a feel for what we wanted. Her abillity to make us feel very comfortable led to some really great photos. I really like how she captured the little meaningful moments and intimate interactions between people. The photos came out wonderfully and promptly and we couldn't have asked for more beautiful memories for such a reasonable price.

With all the stress that comes from preparing a wedding during this unprecedented time, it was comforting to know that our wedding day photos were going to turn out beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Aleks was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. She was very easy to work with, creative, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She perfectly captured those moments that we would want to relish forever. During the day, she arrived early and made it a great experience for all of us. We also loved that Aleks was so flexible with all the arrangements that we had for having an indoor and outdoor photo shoots. Despite the less than ideal sunny weather, the photos turned out better than we could have imagined! Me and my husband cannot say enough great things about Aleks and her work. Aleks is an awesome photographer and very nice person. She shot our wedding a few years ago. She captured beautiful natural and candid shots of us and our guests. She really made us and our wedding guests feel at ease in front of the camera. She blended in with the crowd and talked to all the people she photographed so no one felt awkward. We had a really crazy day of events and she managed our short timelines really effectively, came with her own props (!) for our couple shots and group photos, and had obviously thought through what she wanted to capture before the day. I still get compliments on our photos today. Highly recommend and have recommended her to others often.

Where do I start? I fell in love with Aleks's work even before hiring her to do our wedding. After asking her she gave us an incredible price. She flew to Nova Scotia to shoot the entire thing. Even though we're great friends, I was incredibly surprised at how professional she was from start to finish. Her finished product is definitely some of the best in the business!
