Dear Future Bride & Groom,

My wife Crystal and I were tentative when searching for a photographer to capture our big day. We both share an appreciation for romantic, candid wedding photography, however we are both nervous wrecks in from of the camera. To add to our anxiety about being photographed over and over again, we were also hosting our wedding in Jamaica, which added another level of stress when choosing our vendors.

After an exhausting search for a photographer contracted Amanda for an engagement session, and to travel with us to Jamaica for our wedding week.

We first met Amanda at her home and looked through some of her previous work, and albums. Amanda spent time to get to know us, and we shared not only our expectations but also some insight to our family.

We had our first shoot with Amanda for an engagement session (this was also my first photo shoot ever) I was nervous, however Amanda immediately eased our nerves and we had a great time. We almost forgot that we were there for a photo-shoot as there were so many times we just stopped and chatted or laughed.

When the photos were sent to us they were fabulous. We immediately knew we had made the best decision choosing Amanda for our wedding.

Fast forward a year to our wedding >>>

We have just come back from spending a fabulous week with friends and family in Jamaica celebrating our wedding, (notice I did not say vendors) this is because Amanda & Brian are now our circle of friends!

They were able to share the most special day of our life with us, and captured these moments on film for us to look back on forever. We had Amanda shoot our rehearsal dinner, our wedding day and a trash the dress session. The pictures are breathtaking and Amanda is truly a photographic artist.

Amanda was wonderful from the first initial phone call. She always seemed to get my vision and we just clicked right from the start, it never felt like working with a vendor but that I was working with a friend. She was there through photo timeline meltdown's and took the time to call me and work through every detail with me. Day of she was amazing, quick, efficient, I couldn't have asked for more from a photographer. To this day I'm still getting compliments on my pictures they turned out amazing. Not only were her prices very competitive but the end product was priceless. Amanda truly has a rare gift in photography and I would recommend her or use her again in a heart beat!

Amanda was nothing but amazing in all aspects of our big day and the planning days leading up to it! Our engagement shoot was the first real time we got a feel for Amanda's sense of humour, and she matched us perfectly! We laughed the entire time, making for GREAT pictures - so when it came to the day of the wedding I had complete confidence! Even at 38 weeks pregnant she was laughing and creating a fun and light hearted atmosphere, which made the day so stress free! She was very fast in getting teasers up as well, and the same night as our wedding, my new husband and I got to look back on some of the moments from the day! Could not recommend her highly enough!

When my husband and I started looking for a photographer for our wedding we were a little nervous about the whole thing - the first couple of photographers that we met with were nice, and had beautiful pictures, but seemed a bit stiff. When we met with Amanda it was with so much ease - she gave us different options for what we wanted for our day, and she customized a package for what we needed in a photographer.

Amanda let us know in March that she was actually expecting, but made sure to assure us that she had a backup plan in the event she could not be there. Turns out that she didn't need too much of a backup plan - her husband joined us for the afternoon, as well as another photographer in the evening when she needed to get home and off her feet. Pretty awesome for someone who was very pregnant at the time!

Not only did our pictures turn out fabulous, but Amanda actually made taking all of the pictures fun and stress free! And having the engagement shoot beforehand made us more comfortable infront of the camera and with Amanda herself - which was a bonus. She also got our pictures back to us fairly quickly (teasers were up the day after the wedding I think!).

We would definitey use Amanda again and would recommend her to anyone in need of a photographer - whether for a wedding or otherwise!
