Carlin is an absolute delight. She is one the sweetest and kindest ladies I have ever met. It was so lovely to work with her and have her be the photographer at our wedding. She is very talented and creative yet still responsive to what we wanted. Carlins main goal was to keep us happy and would spend the time getting the shots we wanted. Though the groom doesn't like to be in front of the camera, Carlin would always find a way to make him smile. Carlins assistant Lauren was great too, very friendly and fun. I have only seen a sneak peak of our wedding photos but can not wait to see more. Our engagement photos were also great from Carlin. I know I will not be disappointed in any work from Carlin. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic photographer!! Thank you Carlin for capturing such a special day in our lives.

Carlin was an absolutely amazing photographer! We settled on the passion collection, which included both an engagement session and our wedding day, and all I can say is wow, what a talented lady! She's not afraid to get down and dirty to find the perfect angle, and will go above and beyond your expectations. We had the pleasure of having Carlin photograph our wedding this April. She also included a complimentary engagement session to get to know us and both times we loved our photos. We had our wedding during the pandemic and Carlin was responsive and flexible, making sure to accommodate our changing and uncertain plans. She drove around town to various locations to photograph all the moments that we wanted and worked tirelessly throughout the day. Carlin has a great eye for interesting shots and angles, and she edited our photos beautifully, providing options in black and white as well. She also keeps the mood relaxed and fun and works to make you feel comfortable to capture photos that feel natural and candid. We had a great experience with Carlin and would highly recommend her services!

Getting great pictures at my wedding was top priority for me however a lot of wedding photographers in Calgary are very expensive. That's why we were so happy to find Carlin! Her website and photos were beautiful and she worked within our small budget to make sure we could get everything we wanted. We weren't sure we wanted engagement pictures but we are glad we did and they turned out amazing. Carlin was very easy to work with and quick to respond to emails. She provided very informative answers to our questions and also worked out a timeline for photography that coordinated with the rest of the wedding which was very helpful during the chaos of wedding planning!

On our wedding day Carlin showed up early to get some shots of the venue and scenery. She did a great job of working with my wedding party and the other vendors to get some really beautiful pictures. Everything went really smoothly and the different locations she picked for each set of photos were perfect. We received our photos very quickly after the wedding and absolutely loved them. They were very high quality and we looked stunning. I would highly recommend Carlin for a great experience and gorgeous photos!

I cannot say enough good things about Carlin Anquist Photography! Carlin was the 4th photographer my husband and I met with after coming across her website, and we clicked with her immediately! She has great ideas and an incredible eye, but is very responsive to what the bride and groom have in mind for their wedding photographs. She was great at taking our vision and turning it into absolutely stunning pictures!
We had our engagement shoot with Carlin last February, and when we got to the location she had already scouted out some great spots and came very well prepared. My husband doesn't really like being in front of the camera, but Carlin and her husband Steven made us both feel at ease. We had an amazing day and Carlin was very flexible and willing to spend the time necessary to get the shots we wanted. Her turnaround time for the pictures was great, and she was able to help us pick a picture for our save the date based on the look/design we were going for.
Throughout the wedding planning process, Carlin was very responsive to any questions we had, and had great advice about choosing locations for the wedding pictures, developing the schedule for the day, etc. On the wedding day, she was a perfect mix of directing everyone to make sure we got the shots we needed, but then taking a step back to get some fantastic candid and more natural shots. The pictures are FANTASTIC! They are a great mix of very natural with some more dramatic beauty shots. Nothing is overly photoshopped, so the colours still look natural. My friends and family are stunned at how they turned out. Now the problem is deciding which ones to put on the walls!!

We cannot be happier with our choice of wedding photographer. Carlin was great, and I can't wait to use her for our next photo shoot!

Carlin (and her wonderful assistant, Stephen) went above and beyond for us. It was a challenge getting our wedding together, but she rolled with the punches and adapted to all the many changes we threw at her! In the end she drove all the way to Saskatoon for us, and even spent a few days scoping out the city for the perfect spot. It was so much fun working with her and Stephen throughout the day - posing for pictures can be tedious, but it really just felt like we got to wander along and make out all day while she snapped pictures and made us look stunning. She kept pulling us away for special shots that turned out amazingly - I am still stunned by how beautiful the pictures are. I truly cannot say enough good things about Carlin. She helped make our day more amazing than we thought it could ever have been, and we have incredible pictures (and a video!!) to look back on and remember it fondly. We will never use another photographer, even if we have to drive to Calgary to get pictures done whenever necessary!!
