We hired Leya as our wedding photographer when she was an associate under Edward Ross Photography. We did an engagement shoot, which went well and the photos were great and we were very excited for our wedding photos. A few months before our wedding, Leya quit under Edward Ross and began her own company. She assured us everything was still going to be carried out as normal under the contract.
On the day of the wedding, she showed up with her 2nd photographer right on time, and the day went well, she showed her usual passion and enthusiasm as she worked. When leaving the wedding, she told us the photos shouldn't take too long as we were one of her last weddings in high season.
We waited 5 weeks before reaching out to Leya, not having heard anything, or having received our sneak peek photos or the slideshow which was supposed to be done about 2 weeks after the wedding, according to Leya. We asked her how much longer it would be, and received no response. Over the next 4 weeks, we contacted her by email 4 times, left her 3 voicemails, and after 2 months still had received no response. We thought something may have happened, but she was posting new photos on her Instagram almost every day. We got pretty stressed out with her lack of response, assuming she may have lost our photos or was avoiding us for some similar reason. Luckily, Edward had received our unedited photos from her and he attempted to contact her as well, but also received no response. He edited our photos himself and took care of us, and we were lucky to have him do so as we don't know what we would have done without him.
We now have our photos, but to date, (4 months later), we have still not heard anything from Leya. We did not receive an explanation or an apology, never mind our photos which we spent significant money on. It's too bad because she was fun to work with and takes amazing photos, but because of the lack of response and professionalism, we would not recommend her.

Leya was a fantastic photographer and captured our wedding day like no other could! I would definitely recommend and use her for various events in the future :) She was professional and quick in sorting through and editing photos and we were very happy with what we received.

Excellent Editorial Style

We invited Leya to be a part of our Wedding, Engsgement and a previous couples shoot! We have always loved the quality of work and the timeline of the product exceeded our expectations. Leya has a great and upbeat attitude and makes it easy to be comfortable infront of the lens. We have had a great working relationship with Leya for several years.
