My wife and I contacted and hired Shawn Van Daele from Renaissance a year and a half before our wedding. He conducted our engagement and wedding weekend photographs. I have to say: AWESOME! My wife and I were amazed at our engagement photos and even more so when he sent us our teaser photos from our wedding. Shawn Van Daele was our "zen" during the weekend and made us laugh, made us happy and above all else, he was extremely patient. My wife and I have never met anyone like him and we do not believe we will. He is one in a billion and we are forever grateful for his help during our wedding journey. At some times it was fun as he would ask us to "climb a hill", "walk through that haunted house", "pose with that stranger", "board that plane with this mysterious package and come back by 4pm the next day after you deliver it"....I am kidding of course! Regardless, we would go where he asked us to and pose in fun and candid ways so we can get the shots that we all wanted. The process that we embarked upon with Shawn Van Dale and Renaissance was worth every penny and we would not trade our experience with him for anything else. He definitely made our weekend seem a lot more fun and we cannot wait for our next shoot with Shawn and Renaissance! Much love from Feroze and Serina.

We booked Renaissance Studios to photograph our wedding and we love the results! We don't have all of our photos yet, but they have sent us some "sneak peaks" which are completely gorgeous. The end result is just beautiful.

Throughout the process, we were in communication with Shawn, who was not only super helpful when we had questions, but was also incredibly responsive. He made it a point to reply to our questions immediately, and went above and beyond - big thanks!

Clint was our primary photographer on the day-of, and he was excellent. He made me (the bride) feel comfortable and like we were in good hands the entire day. The shots we have received are spectacular, and I'm so happy with them! Gord was our secondary photographer, and he spent most of the morning with the groom and his team. Looks like his shots were great too!

We would definitely recommend Renaissance Studios. Keep in mind that generally with photography you get what you pay for - and we are very pleased with our photos (what we've seen so far). Also keep in mind that because they are very detail oriented and retouch pictures, it takes a while to get access to all of them. We were very happy to get some beautiful high-res ones about 1.5 weeks after the wedding to include in our thank you cards, and look forward to seeing the rest.

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED WORKING WITH RENAISSANCE STUDIOS!!! I came across Renaissance when I was helping a friend with her wedding plans and knew when I became engaged one day I would be contacting them. Loved their online galleries! Shawn and Clint were always responsive to our questions and emails. Our main photographer was Clint who is a photography GENIUS! He is so easy going and just a pleasure to be around. We first met Clint at our engagement shoot, my then fiancé/now husband and I were nervous as we had never taken professional photos before. Clint put us at ease and it was like we were hanging out with a friend, a friend with a nice fancy camera! We had so much fun during our engagement photos. Clint was very open to our ideas/props and brought his own great vision as well. After seeing our engagement photos we knew we didn't need to worry about of wedding photos. We had a large bridal party (22 people including us). Everyone loved them too!!! Clint was a champ dealing with our crazy bunch. Just before leaving for the church Clint came to me to say everything will be okay and once he gets to the church he'll come to the bus so I know he's there - I will never forget that, seems so simple, but it decreased my anxiety a few notches for sure. He is a very sweet person and is there for his brides. All of our family and friends were super impressed as well. I could go on and on about Clint - he is simply a rockstar. I already asked my husband when we can do more photos with Clint! :)

When my husband and I were looking for a wedding photographer, we literally searched "modern vintage" and Renaissance Studios popped up. One look at their photos and we were sold. They do beautiful work and their vision was completely in-line with ours. As a result, we have absolutely stunning photographs that will be with us always. RS has a number of photographers on their roster and we went with Kimon (such a good decision!). He was fabulous to work with and so much fun! We trusted him completely and really appreciated his suggestions. We wanted a number of artistic and candid photos and he completely delivered (plus, we got some really fun posed shots!). I should mention that RS has a really thorough planner that helps you identify what you are looking for and prevents you from ending up with shots you don't want (for example, we didn't want to use any props). The day of the wedding, Kimon made us feel at ease and we really enjoyed the process (our guests loved him, too!). I'm so thankful that we have such spectacular photos to help us remember and commemorate our wedding. Thank you so much, Kimon and RS! I cannot recommend these folks enough.

There is not enough space for me to rave about Renaissance Photography. I LOVE this company. The photographers are geniuses. They have an art of capturing moments without them being staged and making the wedding day go smoothly, without interruption. The best decision about my wedding was choosing Renaissance because I can relive the best day of my life over and over again. I look at my wedding photos everyday (10 times a day!) because I cannot believe how beautiful they are. They captured my love for my husband in a way that I didn’t believe was possible on camera.
