    Unprofessional, would rate her 0 if I could

    Paid her $760 for a wedding that never happened. She was given ample notice of our cancellation due to covid. She was extremely unprofessional in her lack of communication, the amount of times I had to follow up with her was insane before she finally stated she would refund me on a payment plan. I said this was acceptable and asked for the schedule. This was never received and after numerous followups she stated "Life is very different now". This does not entitle her to my money and breaking her contract. I understand covid has been difficult for everyone but as a small business owner you still have to maintain communications and expectations as outlined in your agreements with clients.

    Hands down, best decision of the wedding

    As a control freak, it was hard to even come to terms with hiring a day-of coordinator for our wedding. But since the first moment she and I chatted, she has been nothing short of wonderful. She asked questions that I didnt even know to ask, and she was so on top of everything even when I wasnt.

    I left instructions for my groomsmen to decorate the wedding arch and when it didnt work out, Laureen stepped in and created something that was better than anything I could have done myself.

    She stayed well beyond the end of the ceremony to help us with tear down and the logistics of taking photos.

    Unrelated to Laureen, our photographer was absolutely incompetent and lost all our wedding photos due to negligence. When Laureen checked in with us to see how we were doing, I told her that we have been dealing with the devastating loss of our photos. She sent a sweet message, but what I didnt expect was another email from her that she sent just a couple of hours later.

    She took all the photos and videos she took from our wedding on her phone, and she made a video for us!!! We were completely blown away and we were speechless.

    We now have photos and videos that we didnt think we had, even though they arent the professional photos.

    If you are on the fence about hiring a day-of coordinator, DO IT. You will be so busy and some things WILL go less than ideally thag require your attention, so you dont need to worry about coordination on top of that.

    If you are now convinced to get a coordinator, hire Laureen. She is hands down the best decision we made for the wedding, and we couldnt have had a successful ceremony without this true gem of a person!!!!

    Very smooth wedding day!

    Laureen is very approachable and had a great vision for our wedding day ideas. She is very knowledgeable about vendors of all sorts, which obviously helped us immensely to get great products at good prices. Our wedding venues were both self-catered, and she did an amazing job getting the ceremony site set up based on what we discussed. For our reception, she put the final touches on our venue and it was everything we dreamed it would be. Not only was she out in Canmore early the day of our wedding, Laureen and her awesome assistant Christine stayed much later after the reception was done to take things down and clean up, something we would have had to do all day Sunday. Not only was Laureen able to articulate and put together our ideas, she had most of our centerpiece decor in her personal collection which she used when setting up; we were very grateful for being able to incorporate these. On the morning of our wedding, there was a problem with highway traffic, but Laureen was on it right away, talking to our officiant, shuttle driver, and other helpers to make sure everything was still running smoothly. Knowing Laureen was taking care of it, we didn't worry about it and it all turned out perfect!
    Laureen is knowledgeable, creative, attentive, and truly listens to your visions of the perfect day. She was amazing to have, and we could not have done our wedding day without her. Thank you Laureen!

    Underdelivered

    Laureen was in over her head with our wedding and wasn’t able to accomplish everything we had agreed upon. Cost is more than the value you receive.
    She is lovely to speak with but unfortunately wasn’t able to provide us with a sketch of the seating plan (as promised), or timely information and organization in the weeks before the wedding.

    Hi Brodie. Now that it is the end of wedding season, I can safely say your wedding was the most challenging this year! With so much rain that the venue was unable to put up the second part of the tent, your wedding required a complete overhaul of all the tables, {that were set up according to floor plan that I did send to both you and the venue a few weeks prior. (I do have the records for this)}, chairs, all decor, games, dishes, bar liquor, overhead string lights and so much more. Myself and assistant worked tirelessly (only one assistant as it was a day of coordination) in the rain and mud to recreate your vision as closely as possible inside a barn. Despite the complete redo of all the work that had started on Wednesday, your ceremony and wedding ran relatively on time, all your decor games and bar were set up, and I kept the rest of the evening running smoothly. I also took care of many items that were not part of a day of coordination package. If I could have done any more for you in those 18 hours, I absolutely would have!

    Definitely Brilliant

    We went with Laureen as our month-of-coordinator, but she corresponded with us from the moment we met. She suggested ideas that would help our wedding day run as smooth as possible.
    Laureen was a lifesaver. I wanted to do a lot of things myself and with Laureen's help, my vision came to life. We were able to use some of her rental items to complete our decor. She joined final meetings and coordinated our vendors.
    Our wedding day had a very tight schedule, but Laureen & her team helped with the transition. She was able to quickly think of solutions to smooth out any hiccups. Thank you Laureen!

    Highly Recommended

    I couldn't have better things to say about working with Laureen and her team. Throughout the planning process, Laureen was attentive, organized and resourceful.

    Laureen helped to alleviate any additional stress leading up to the wedding by providing helpful tips and resources that kept me and my husband on track for our big day. She took the reigns on organizing our other vendors and made sure all of them followed the schedule she made so they remain organize and made it fun and enjoyable throughout.

    On our wedding day, I knew I had absolutely nothing to stress about because Laureen and her team were on it. Every little detail, every step of the way. I couldn't have asked for a better planner, and am so grateful that we picked her to help us throughout our wedding planning

    I would recommend Laureen and her team to absolutely anyone!

    Although we did not hire Laureen directly, (our wedding planner subcontracted her), we absolutely loved her! She came into a very awkward situation and handled everything with such professionalism and grace that we wished we had dealt with her right from the start. Laureen was given some wrong information about our event but immediately put herself to the task of asking questions and being proactive in getting things done once the information was clarified. Truly she was an asset to our special day. You would be getting a true professional if you were to hire Laureen!
