Our wedding was held in the tropical paradise of Sayulita, Mexico. Elora flew down to shoot our wedding, and words cannot express how wonderful working with her was. She fit right in with our family and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I'm quite shy when it comes to photography but Elora made me feel so at ease! While we were shooting, I barely even noticed her, other than a few hoots and hollers while she ran around snapping shots. Her upbeat, positive attitude and bright smile was such a treat. She made our day so special and the photos turned out absolutely spectacular. She is wonderful, and I would definitely recommend her to be part of your special day. -

The best videographer/photographer experience we could ask for!
Our plan was to elope all along, knowing that it was top priority to find someone who could capture our day for not only sharing with friends and family, but to deliver professional grade photos and video as a lifelong keepsake. The more we tore apart social media platforms, the more we came back to Elora - and she did not disappoint! Simply, it was an amazing experience dealing with Elora! She was enthusiastic and completely in tune with our expectations. She provided our must haves, while still grabbing the extra shots above and beyond to fulfill capturing the emotion on our wedding day. Elora delivered a stunning package of pictures and video in a timely manner, with excellent correspondence along the way too!
It is also worth mentioning how exceptional Elora was for us - Covid restrictions due to Provincial measures meant we ended up cancelling our venue 27 days prior to our wedding day. Our all inclusive Elopement Package was gone, leaving us with nothing but Elora and a Commissioner. Elora did not hesitate to help us out. She immediately went on scouting missions to provide us pictures of different Covid friendly locations, and give us an idea of how to solve our venue issue since we were a province away. Her local connections gave us leads on hair & makeup, flowers, catering, and ultimately our new private venue which ended up fitting us perfectly. Our day was saved, we owe it to Elora and can't thank her enough! -

While I was planning my wedding I was extremely hesitant about videography- I had seen so many mediocre videos that looked more like slideshows. My partner was more keen about videography so I decided if we are going to do videography I would need to find someone worth my money. I scoured the internet and social media and once I saw Elora’s content I knew I had found the person I wanted to work with. Elora’s product is far and beyond the best in the business. She is extremely passionate about the medium she works with and the product she produced for our wedding day completely changed my mind about the place of videography in the day itself. Not only did she play an influential role in making the day go smoothly, but the videos she created tell the story of our day so perfectly that I am able to share/relive that day for the years to come. The videos she made for us bring tears to my eyes every time I watch them. If was to redo my wedding day and had to only pick one vendor to work with it would be Elora May creative- hands down, without a doubt. -

Elora not only captured STUNNING shots of our wedding venue, but she created our dream video out of all our favourite moments! She is such a sweet person that went absolutely above and beyond for us on our day. To not have her as a videographer would have been such a sad thing. If you are getting married in the Kootenay’s we HIGHLY suggest she be your girl! -

Elora was an absolute dream to work with. What started out as - what seemed like - a tough decision, easily became one of our best decisions of the wedding. Not only did she beautifully and perfectly capture our day, but her contagious personality was a true highlight throughout the wedding weekend.
From our very first email interaction with Elora, we knew we had made the right choice. Her passion, knowledge and overall positivity extended beyond the role of videographer. She went out of her way to get to know Dan and I, suggested officiants in the area when we were struggling to find one and excitedly jumped in when we asked if she'd photograph our Friday welcome reception.
Both the teaser & final video far exceeded our expectations! I've probably watched our wedding video a hundred times and each time am blown away at all the love, creativity and humor that Elora pumped into our short film. She beautifully told the story of Dan and I, made me both laugh and cry and captured the very best moments of our big day. We are beyond thankful that we get to relive this day over and over through her incredible work.
We'd highly recommend Elora and will continue to look for any opportunity to work with her (or just hang out with her in general, haha!) in the future. Vow renewals 8.10.2029? :) Thank you for everything, Elora!

Elora was so easy to work with from day one, until after the wedding when we received our sneak peak, and full film. Elora truly cares about you, and about the film and it really shows. A truly genuine soul. Elora was so refreshing to work with amongst our search for vendors! Hire her 100%. -

I truly can not say enough positive things about our experience with Elora, and specifically using her as our wedding videographer. At first my partner and I were hesitant to book videography services because it felt like a bit of an extravagant splurge. By the time our big day rolled around though we were both so glad that we did! The day went by like a flash, so much of it is a blur. Thankfully Elora was there capturing all of the special moments, and compiled it beautifully into our wedding video. She was even able to secure the license to use "our song" in the video, something that demonstrated to me just how much she cares about her clients and their wishes. When I first received our video, I watched it on repeat for days, and I still tear up every time I see it. The video she created for us is so precious to me, it immediately became one of my most sentimental and valuable possessions. Thank you, Elora.
